A quirky place to visit on Lošinj Island is Agrotourism, also called the Lošinj Aromatic Garden. Agrotourism is on the edge of town and a fantastic place to visit. The Lošinj Aromatic Garden is a tranquil place with views of the sea and the island’s hills.

This is a beautiful garden with a variety of plants, including aloe, cacti, and many of the island’s resident plants. They have some rather unique decor in the gardens, including some pretty garden features like swings and art displays. They also have a shop on site which sells a variety of trinkets and herbal produce from the island. They also have an online shop with many of the items available to order.

Is It Dog Friendly?

Agro Dog

We were fine visiting with Henry, our dog. You do need common sense, though, to keep pets away from the livestock pens. We enjoyed a beer and some shopping with the dog on our visit to the garden.

Their swing is a lovely place to sit, enjoy the views of the coast, and relax.

Bee Hive

They have a beehive or two throughout the garden. You can also purchase various types of honey in their shop, which is nice.

They have seating arranged in one area facing out to see, which looks like a theatre. And the current performance of the splendid views from the aromatic garden.

I really enjoyed the tranquillity of the gardens and sitting, enjoying the views. The plants were interesting to see up close, and the owner was friendly.

One Comment

  1. Those placid, tranquil surroundings would work for me as well. My parents were avid gardeners. Weekends often involved a few hours spent weeding, pruning and the like. Being among brilliant gardens along with those stunning views? Heaven.
