Tried and Tested Restaurants and Bars in Šibenik, Croatia
Šibenik has a brilliant selection of restaurants, including many that are open year-round, not just during peak season. We enjoyed some delightful meals out in the old town during our stay. The bars of Sibenik were also nice, including some with sea views. Many had dog-friendly areas, including most terraces, and some allowed dogs inside. Those that didn’t usually had a big red sign.

We found many options for local Croatian food, including some for delicious seafood. Most bars and cafes had the full range of coffee and local beer options. There were also some nice fast-food joints, which were handy for a quick meal on busy days of exploring.
Tried & Tested Restaurants in Šibenik
These are the notable places where we enjoyed food or drinks during our holiday in Šibenik.
Konoba Centar Sibenik For Delicious Seafood

One of my favourite lunches out while visiting the city was at Konoba Centar Sibenik. Konoba Centar is in the old town and has outdoor seating on a small side street. They also have a nice indoor dining area, which is comfortable.

They have a great menu with plenty of seafood and Dalmatian cuisine options. During my visit, I enjoyed their Skampi na Buzaru, which was langoustines in a nice sauce, served with local pasta. The food and service here were great, and I was glad I popped in for a light lunch.
Bistro More

On the seafront with excellent views of the water is Bistro More. Bistro More is a small, very dog-friendly restaurant that serves good food. We visited for brunch and beer, as it was close to our accommodation. The service was good, and the breakfast food hit the spot.

For food, I enjoyed a cooked ham sandwich with a fantastic garlic sauce, and my wife enjoyed eggs and salmon. They also have a nice range of seafood options for lunch or evening meals. Their drinks were nice too, including Karlovačko and coffee. As a bonus, Henry had a bowl of their best dog water. Note: if visiting Bistro More, only cash payments are accepted.
Buffet San Antonio In Old Town

Another nice place to dine out was Buffet San Antonio in the Old Town area. They have a nice outside seating area on a small square. They had a varied menu with meat and seafood options.

For a light lunch out here, I enjoyed the grilled octopus and vegetables. This was tasty and hit the right notes. For drinks, I enjoyed a PAN, a Croatian beer. Overall, a great place for food and good service.
Food King

A fast-food restaurant I really enjoyed was Food King, which is a short walk out of the old town. They mostly do takeaway but have a small indoor dining area. On my visits, I enjoyed some beer and their house burger. Their burgers were big and cooked perfectly, which I really enjoyed.
Burger Bar Bagatin

Another place in the old town’s side streets is Burger Bar Bagatin. Burger Bar Bagatin has a pleasant terrace overlooking a nice town square. On my visit, I enjoyed some local beer and chilled on a hot afternoon. They also specialise in burgers and have a great variety on their food menu.
My Favourite Bars and Cafés in Šibenik
Caffe Bar Piazza

I love the vibe and shopping at markets in Croatia; part of the process is a beer after seeing what’s available before deciding on the day’s menu. A great bar in the Šibenik markets is Caffe Bar Piazza, which has views of the stalls. They had all the usual drinks at a local Croatian bar; thus, I enjoyed a Karlovačko. This was one of the cheapest places in the city for me, and the service was great.
Moby Dick Caffe Bar

On the edge of the old town, with sea views, is Moby Dick Caffe Bar. Moby Dick Caffe Bar has a covered terrace and is a great place for a drink. They open quite early and serve drinks well into the evening. I enjoyed some great coffee and Croatian beer here. Moby Dick was pretty reasonably priced, and the views were pretty.
Hendrick’s Bar

While mooching around the old town, I visited Hendrick’s Bar, which had been recommended to me in a local Facebook group. Hendrick’s Bar has a nice outside seating area with shade for a break while exploring the centre. They had a good range of drinks to choose from, including beer, coffee and wine. I had a few relaxing bottles of Ojusko on my visit and found it a good place to chill.
Caffe bar Niko

For cheap drinks in a place that opens very early, there was Caffe Bar Niko in the main market. It’s a very basic place that serves a variety of drinks, including coffee, beer, and shots. It tends to open when the market opens, and I found it a good place to ponder what to cook that evening. They provided table service and found the crowd friendly.
Caffe Bar Domald

A nice place with sea views is Caffe Bar Domald, which was a handy stop while walking Henry. They have outdoor seating on the seaside, which is nice. It was quiet on our visit, but I’d guess it’s popular during the summer. They had a good range of beers and soft drinks, which we enjoyed. Note that this was a cash-only place on our visits.
